As Huawei's two flagships, both Mate 20 Pro and P30 pro have the wireless reverse charging function. The two models support wireless reverse charging for some devices that pass the Qi wireless charging authentication, such as P30 pro, Mate 20 Pro, Mate RS, iPhone 8 series, iPhone X, iPhone XS series, and Huawei second-generation wireless headsets. The charging power of the reverse charging is smaller than that of the original charger. Therefore, it takes a long time to charge the large-capacity device, which is more suitable for emergency use.

I'll tell you how to use this function in detail.
First, turn on the wireless reverse charging

1)Go to Settings > Battery, turn on the wireless reverse charging as shown below:

2)Charge the device within 2 minutes after the wireless reverse charging is turned on. If it exceeds 2 minutes, the phone will automatically turn off the wireless reverse charging, and a pop-up prompt as shown below will appear.

Second, start wireless reverse charging

1)Before starting wireless reverse charging, please make sure that the mobile phone power is higher than 20%, otherwise the system will limit the wireless reverse charging function to be turned on.

2)Before starting wireless reverse charging, please make sure that the device to be charged is turned on.

3)Place two phones back to back (for specific location, you can see the description of the wireless charging position of the charged device). Avoid the relative movement of the two devices during charging to avoid charging stop. The following picture shows two Mate 20 Pro as an example.

4)If wireless reverse charging has not started in 5 seconds, please adjust the position to restart.

5)When the wireless reverse charging is started, the mobile phone will display the wireless reverse charging icon on the status bar, as shown below.

Other notes:

1. Do not place metal-containing items between the device being charged and the phone, such as bus cards or coins. Do not place the phone directly on metal objects after turning on the wireless reverse charging function.

2. If the wireless reverse charging is turned on and the phone is placed on the wireless charger, the wireless reverse charging will automatically turn off, and the wireless charger will charge the phone.
3. If two phones are simultaneously turned on wireless reverse charging and placed back to back, one of the phones will automatically turn off the wireless reverse charging, and the other phone will wirelessly reverse charge it.

4. The wireless reverse charging is suitable for emergency. If the charged device requires full charging, it is recommended to use wired charging or wireless charger for charging.
